Default Generic source for climate control LCD backlight bulbs (radioshack?) or OEM part #

Two of the three backlight bulbs just went out in quick succession on my '93 SC400. I attempted replacing them with a bunch of LEDs, but even with a lot of LEDs and plastic-wrap as a diffuser, I cannot get the light distributed perfectly even. So, I have given up on the LED idea and I just want to replace the bulbs with something comparable.

I found this part number in a search: 83119-24490, but the thread mentioned they were different, and a google search has lead me to believe they are for the LS400, not SC400. Does anyone have the correct part number for an SC? (I don't trust the dealer to look it up...) Also, has anyone had luck with generic bulbs (from radioshack, for example)? If the SC bulbs cost as much as the LS bulbs (list price over $7, and probably still at least $5 each with my employee discount), it will cost over $30 just to replace the 6 bulbs (3 for the LCD and 3 for the buttons). I could replace just the two that burned out, but then I'll probably be tearing my dash apart next month to replace another one... I don't mind spending the money for OEM parts, most of the time, but $30 for a few light bulbs that shouldn't cost more than $1-2 each, is ridiculous, especially considering they seem very unreliable.

Thanks!
