Im tuned using AEM FIC. Had it retuned about 2 weeks ago and it has ran great, or well as good as you can expect on an fic. lol Anyways last night it just randomly started my af gauge leans out when im just normal driving and the car starts sputtering kinda like it is running out of gas but it isnt and then it turns off.. usually doesnt start right back up either i can turn the ingition over and itll try but nothing then maybe after letting it sit for about 20 min itll start back up. Anyways last night it did this and i sat on the side of the road for about an hour had my gf bring me a jug of gas thinking hell maybe my gauge is messed up she brought me 3 gallons and still nothing about 30 min after that it fired right up and i drove it home about 4 miles away. hit boost with no problem wentfull throttle with no problem. Now today same problem. i have half a tank of gas its repeating the same process but this time it isnt staying on long enough to really even get the car to move more than 50 feet. my plugs were fouled so i changed those ngk heat range of 8 thats what ive ran in it for the last year or so. I havent done any modifications in the last few months. one of the fuel pumps did get replaced a few months ago but they are both running. if anyone has suggestions that would be great. i doubt its the filter i checked that about 3 months ago also. Barry maybe I missed it, but what mods do you have, motor, etc? Do you have it when in certain boost levels the other pump comes on? How did you check the filter? Aero filter or stock one using stock lines?

 

Sorry man i was typing fast and probably left out a lot. its a 2jzge, eagle rods, wiesco pistons,stock head, 800cc injectors twin 255lph fuel pumps t4 70mm turbo. boost setting is at 16psi. but it doesnt happen at a certain boost level or rpm. it ccan idle and itll eventually do it or i can rev it to about 5 grand for maybe 5 seconds and it starts to die down where it seems like its losing fuel, but when i put it in gear to start moving i can move maybe 50 feet and it starts to sputter and my afr gauge goes lean and rpms drop and it shuts off. im thinking it might be the fuel pump again. i changed the plugs earlier about 2 hours ago becsaue they where pretty fouled. but still nothing i just got it home so i have my tools and a place to work on it instead of a parking lot.
