Default Hesitation on go

LS460L - fully loaded.

When I step lightly on the gas from a dead stop, I get a slight surge then hesitation and then it picks up normally. If I let the car roll forward a little when I take my foot off the gas, this does not seem to happen. Hold is OFF and I'm using premium gas. Anybody have any ideas. Thanks.

I noticed the same thing on an intermittent basis. Hopefully it will go away with more miles (202 miles so far).

Yes, I noticed this on my short test drive. It will be interesting to see if it goes away with time.

I did not notice it.

The start from the HOLD position is so smooth.

Although the problem I described is intermittent, I agree that the start from hold is very smooth and in fact, smoother than when hold is turned off.
