Default 2000 sc300 on eBay

What do you guys think of this sc300? Just won the bid on eBay for $4800. 2000 sc300 with 142k miles, black on black, looks to be in mint condition with only a few issues. I also found a mint condition black passenger side fender locally on craigslist for $60 that I will swap out for the dented one. Let me know what you guys think.

It's a wicked price. Something like what you got, is what I'm looking for occasionally.

I would never, ever pay what some of the CL users ask for their 92-93's. "mods" or not.

Congrats on the car!

Appreciate the feedback. I've been looking for almost 4 years for a nice late model SC at a good price and I'm pretty excited to have finally found one. I'm not a fan of the calipers or exhaust but those will be addressed quickly. I'm very excited to make my way over to Ohio and bring this beauty home!

I wouldn't have trusted that seller. As long as it wasn't payed for via wire transfer...there's no risk. But a big dollar eBay seller that sells cars should have a feedback score more than 4. I hope that you didn't get scammed.

Tossing all of that aside, the SC looks really mint! Almost 100%. Very nice find if the seller is indeed legit.

Nothing to write home about. If it was a 2000 SC400 fire up the presses!

Honestly that's just the risk you take buying off ebay. If you can't inspect the car in person you never know what you're going to get. I just googled the vin and look what came up....

That's your car before someone bought it and tweaked it. Spectre air filter, painted calipers, emblems removed...who knows what else they did. They put 32K on it in about three years.

Hard to say if it's a good deal until it's in your possession. Best of luck with it though, I wish I had a 2000 SC.

I googled the vin as well and watched that video as well as read the car fax report. Everything seems legit to me. Service records from Lexus dealers throughout 2010. Timing belt done in 08. Seems to me that it is well taken care. In regards to the eBay seller.. It is being sold from a dealer that just listed it on eBay. Fiat of Strongsville Ohio. I don't see any reason to distrust the seller but if any one has anything to convince me otherwise, I'm all ears. The deal hasn't been completed yet but I am very eager to get this bad boy in my possession!

Well if it all checks when you actually get it then it looks like you got a sweet deal. I paid $2600 for my 96 SC with 117K, completely dealer maintained, I'm the third owner. Interior/engine are mint, but being a NY city car it has some dings and dents... Platinum Metallic/Black Interior. Thought I got a good deal, car runs perfect. Hope it works good for you man.
