Recently a brake light went out in my 92 sc400 taillight. I saw this as an opportunity and my excuse to upgrade all my taillight bulbs to LED's. My question is, should I just get white led's or should I go with red ones? The stock bulbs are just a regular white but the taillight lense is red. I'm leaning more towards red led's just incase of possible spotting with the whites.

Also, same question for the turn signals, should I get plain white, or Amber led?

 

Get white. Ive gotten red leds on red lenses and theyre not as bright during the day. At night they look great though.
Ambers on the signal for sure.

 

I was pondering this myself, where would you get those?

 

I've gotten all mine from superbrightleds.com but really you can get them off of Amazon or eBay if you want them cheap. There's not too much of a difference.

 

Not to thread jack, but does anyone know if this would fit our SC's dome light? I'm thinking yes.
