Default Adjusted timing now car feels slower?

So today I changed out my distributor O-ring and readjusted my timing but now it feels like the acceleration is sluggish compared to before. Has this happened to anyone?

How did you readjust your timing? Did you use a light? Did you lock timing in the diagnostic port?

Before removal of the distributor I turned the crank shaft pulley to the right until I can see the tip of the cam shaft lobe through the oil cap hole. Then I turned the crank shaft pulley to the left til the hash marks were TDC. Took out distributor, changed O-ring, aligned distributor sprocket with the mark on the body, then put everything back together, and adjusted the timing with a timing light to 10 degrees while I jumped the te1 and e1 ports on the diagnostics.

So I believe I did it correct unless I missed a step somewhere.

maybe your timing was advanced a bit before, its hard to tell but sounds like you did it right. let the engine warm up fully and double check, maybe if you reset the ecu it needs some time to relearn.
I wouldn't turn the engine to the left though you should generally just turn to the right and you can tell you are at tdc by the cam marks pointing up at the timing cover.
