Default Door Trim Removal

I want to wrap my wood door trim in carbon fiber. Do I have to take the whole door panel off or is the trim held in by friction clips, meaning can I pry them out without removing the door panel?

No, Wood trim requires the entire panel to be removed. The wood trim is held in by friction rings.

I think they are held in by approx. 10 nuts from the back through the door panel. Driver side has more, if I am not mistaking.

More trickier. Must remove the passenger side kick panel, glove box, and the trim around the center console (just below the center vent). They are held in there with wing nuts from the back side. If you have an airbag, then it is held in there by like 8 Phillip head screws on the bottom and sides. Airbag is a bit more tedious and requires more effort than one without. There are many DIY on removing this...
