My Sc is almost stock, lowered and R154 swap, that's about it.

I reinstalled the valves, valve stems, springs, shims, etc myself to cut down costs. They are within specs when I reinstalled.
Valve job is $150, decking is $60, sandblasting $27
I shuold have kept the HG you bought! So what's the plan on yours? I read you are getting V160, must be nice!

good to know that you inspected that motor and freshening it up. i stay here in dallas and have dealt wit JDM engines corp. that guy is more shady than a pecan tree at 6pm in july! maybe ill start a build thread soon

No one bought my R154 so I am planning on keeping it. No V161 for me. I may just install it and run with it and crank up the boost on my car and continue building a motor on the side.Originally Posted by JesLet

Under 3k rpm for first 500 miles for break in, what do you suggest?
