Default front jacking SC300

Here is a picture I found..

I inspected under the car and front the front part of this cross member, it looks like silver with some ribs like this
/ \ / \ / \ But not having a flat solid surface to jack on is new to me.

With the underbody plastic shield sort of in the way I am not so sure, can you put a piece of wood around this silver area and jack it up from there? I don't want to accidently hit the oil pan, but it looks like a thin edge of the cross member might be what is making contact with the jack.

I just put a block of wood on the jack and lifted on the crossmember. I jack it up enough to fit wheel stands under the wheels then remove the jack.
