Ryan , I wonder how comfortable those seats are on a 1000 mile trip. I bet a big difference though in seat weight.

They are really comfortable....I havent taken the car for more than 300 miles before anyways....but I plan on trying to make it out to Chicago this year with Dmitry to go to a car show....that should be at least a 6 hr drive or so.....

They are extremely light weight.....each seat comes in at 16lbs but with bracket and slider they are probably around 25-30 lbs....

I'm in on this too. I saw Dmitri's car in person last year, and its the nicest build I've ever seen. I will definitely be bringing my NA-T out this year since it's mostly sorted. I need to start hanging with more SC people

Awesome seats. I'm jumping over from the SC430 forum with a couple of questions -

1. With no incline do you still have access to the rear seat?
2. Did the SC300 have a seat side airbag? If so, how did you get around the ECU alert?

Thanks much

I have no idea about access to back seats....really didnt even cross my mind.....The seats do move forward pretty far so I dont see it being an issue

Either way with fixed bucket racing seats you are going to have some limitations...

I have a 92 SC....so the only airbag I have is in the steering wheel...and I swapped the factory one to a RX300 black wheel....it is currently disconnected

Feb 2015 Update:

Needed to take the car out of the garage today as it was running low on fuel.....decided to take it out for a little spin and try out the new sparco bucket seats...

Got some full shots for you guys since its out of garage for a few minutes

Still need to get an alignment and adjust coils with the new wheel and tire setup..
