Default coilover advice

Looking at purchasing a set of tein ss coilovers for my 92 sc400. Do I need to do drivers side harness relocate and fender mods for sure? I am running 18" is-f wheels
225-40-18 front
255-40-18 rear

It'll be easier to do now than later. Since many people always get the urge of going lower than originally planned in the future. At least do the wiring harness, or regret it later after your tires chews on it.

How about the fenders? Anyone else running that rim/tire size lowered?

If you can do the harness relocation now you might as well, the fender isn't that hard to pull off once you pull the fender lining and see where it's mounted up.

I run slammed tein ss' now for like 20-30k miles now with 18s and 265s all around currently. Pulled in the front rolled pretty good in the rear. It all depends on how low you wanna go

Stock height? No harness relocation needed.

If you lower it more than the width of a hair? Relocate the harness.
