I'm hoping it fires up for you as well. This thread will be very helpful when I take this on.
I think member 'Lexxium' is gathering the parts to do the swap on his 2000, so I'll be following that closely..

This Is great!!! I wonder if the 5 speed auto uses the same plugs, ill get to the bottom of the this car on thur to see if I can follow the wires and the cables along with the connections.
A couple of days ago I pulled a 5sp man mk3 supra ds, from a junk yard. So, all I need is a tranny adapter and some fabrication to run a fork setup ) getting closer and closer

That's cool bro. Takes time and patience. If its not the same color wire it should be the same concept just try to get the schematic for it

One thing I would point out to anyone using a hydraulic throwout bearing. Make absolutely certain that all of the connections on the hydraulic lines are tight, especially the ones inside the bellhousing. I installed my R154 and went to bleed the system. I poured in a couple of quarts of brake fluid and the level just kept going down!!! Well, it was puddling under my car because the hyd line wasn't all the way tightened. So, I had to remove the tranny again and fix it. What a pain in the butt. There is so much pressure in the line that even a slightly loose fitting will leak.
I also took the spring off my clutch pedal. Does anyone else have that issue? The spring was so strong that it just wanted to pull the pedal to the floor as soon as I pushed it down a little bit. Without the spring, it works beautifully. I have not figure out the auto tranny solenoids yet but I will try some resistors to stop the O/D light from blinking. I have a 93 so it is OBDI which makes things a little bit easier. Good luck to everyone doing this swap. It is well worth it if you get it done properly.
