So I'm pretty much rewiring my entire car. The car is a 92 sc4 with the Nakamichi sound system. I'm trying to figure out the purpose of the looping wires going into the drivers side trunk.

 

I don't recall any looping wires on the driver side. But I might be forgetting. Some pictures would help though!

 

I think this is the only picture I have. It's the harness pulled through the grommet into the cab.

But in the trunk by the jack, there's a white connector taped to the tail light wiring harness. This connector has wires coming from the cab to one side of the connector and then mirrors to the other side of the connector and back into the cab.
