Considering wrapping my car in Matte White
Opinions? I have an authentic Auto couture kit that I do not want to damage any more than I have. Considering wrapping as a extra protection. I've also always wanted to own a white car.

I agree, 1000%.
I wrapped a Porsche 997 Twin Turbo in 3M's Matte White 1080-series vinyl... We parked outside for a day, some rain, pollen, bird doo doo.... FINGER PRINTS.... it didn't hold up well. 3M's new SATIN WHITE 1080-series vinyl may be better, I haven't used that one yet. Unlike the Matte White, it's slightly glossier but still matte and seems easier to maintain and keep clean.
And yes, just like mattjk said, the vinyl will NOT hold up to rock chips. A paint protection film (clear bra) is your best bet against such damages. If you want matte, there is also a matte paint protection film available. Basically, whatever the color your car is, you'll get the beneficial rock chip protection and your cars' color in matte unlike glossy clear bra.
(I do clear bras everyday... and vinyls from time)
And not to hurt your feelings but I rather have anyone know the reality, if anything has been painted/ repainted from a body shop (ANYTHING NOT PAINTED FROM THE MANUFACTURER), there is a chance PPF and/or vinyl would be more costly when you remove it versus not having it at all... paint peels with the films. Had that happend. So, hopefully you take it to a very good, reputable body shop for the paint work.
Another alternative, Plasti-Dip. They have custom color kits now to make whatever color you want... Glossifiers, metallic, etc... Comes off a lot easier when you go to remove it and way less chance it'll damage the paint.

White plastidip is a terrible idea
White vinyl wrap is a terrible idea
It's near impossible to keep them clean. And this is coming from a guy who has been wrapping cars for 18 years. Wrapping is used best on fleet vehicles for mobile advertising graphics. Unless you want to park your car in a garage and only drive it once a month, wrapping isn't for you.
Plastidip looks horrible in person.

thats not true, dip done wrong looks horrible in person, its all in the application. I like the satin pearl white wrap, i actually considered it for a while, my friends gtr has been holding up pretty nicely and its daily driven. The downfall with the wrap is doing touch ups, it would require the entire panel to be replaced.
