Default My 1992 SC400 Black Onyx Rebuilding

hi guys,

i bought a 1992 SC400 and it really was a miss, i am trying to rebuild it and i really need your help as this Forum did help me a looot in rebuilding process. i will keep you with the pictures how i got the car and until now how far i did with it.

this is how i got the car it was parked for over 3 years with no care

and this is after the first clean up and changing the wheels to ls460 2008 19" blacked rims which was installed on my 2010 ES350

the previous owner installed the grill and changed the spoiler and the tail lights which confused me and my friends

i did then change the rims to 17"X7 OZ ultralaggera replica blacked
a weekend run through the complete dashboard for cleaning a 3 years dust

now i ordered a new headlamps and started the body work

Parts received

while testing the lights i didnt like the color of the three small blue light

continued...

continuing

the body now is done and already sandpapered and needs only heavy waxing
the headlights: i changed the three lights to bright white LEDs

now i need to refresh my interior i did bought a 1996 complete interior (black and beige) and took it to the shop to rebuilt it and change the colors to a modern sport style

those are the colors i choose for it

the work is done now

Looks pretty good, definitely different with the interior...I like it! hey as far as the door pieces, how did you match the seats, or were they wrapped in leather?

Coming along pretty nicely

But to be honest builds like this take a lot of money and dedication, I'd never think about fixing up an SC like this unless I was rich

Love the interior color. Is that Persimmon like in the 370Z?

thank you all guys

for steve i did wrap the doors with leather and the whole roof is now black suede (not the original too costy)

the whole interior did cost something around 1.5K USD but i had to do it

still there is a long way in moding this ride

I have always loved that color of interiors in BMW's. Actually my favorite. I was kinda iffy on the SC, but you have pulled it off. I likey, likey.

Just fix the passenger side door handle and put the plastic cap back on.

Gat damn that interior is one of the nicest I've ever seen on an SC. Someone needs to post that interior in the inspirational thread or whatever it's called. Very nice job sir, well done. I hope this motivates some of the current and future SC owners to clean your cars up.
