Default 96 SC400 Pics

Finally got the time to do a full polish and wax on my car because the previous owner definitely neglected the paint. Pretty proud of the end result. Let me know what you think.

Also, I want to get some opinions, should I tint the windows?

Looks mint! How many miles on it? I'd tint the windows...it finishes the look. I've always hated cars W no tinting...

its got 101k miles on it. Any idea on what grade of tint would be good? I don't want to go limo black but definitely want it to look fresh. What's a good price for a tint job?

10% maybe? I have 10% on the drivers side of my SC, and 5% on the passengers side. Gonna rip it all off and have 10% all around, done professionally at a tint shop. As to your last question, I am wondering myself...

Crispy K-lean. Don't touch it.

I went 12 years on my SC without tint because I knew it wouldn't look as good.

Do you happen to be in SD? Car looks familiar. Anyways, you might wanna look into ceramic tint, which is visually transparent, but works as good if not better than regular tint, just so you can protect your mint condition interior from the harmful rays of our SoCal sun.

I bought the car off of craigslist about 2 weeks ago in San Diego but that's not where I live. If I were to get tint it would be more for the aesthetics than for the function (function would be a plus). I certainly thought most people would say to tint, so after hearing so many opinions not to I'm starting to change my mind...

I have a few pictures of the stock golf emblems and some paint damage on the rear trunk that I fixed myself, but I didn't feel the need to take pictures of a car that I wasn't happy with the looks of. The headlights were super fogged and one of the tail lights had gotten cracked and extremely yellowed. That's about all I've done so far to this car. I'm taking it to a mechanic tomorrow morning to get serviced. Hopefully there's not too many things wrong inside the engine bay

Guy you bought it from has been trying to sell that SC for a few months. Glad somebody here bought it, it looked so clean on the pics in Craigslist.
