Default body kits

Hi guys,
I have been thinking about buying a body kit or just some of the parts so I can mix and match as I please. Can any one tell me what companies make the best kits or parts? Also I'd like to know if the kits come pre drilled and if the mounting hardware comes with them?
Any Information would be a big help. Thanks.

*****.......... what happened to you bro, you used to be a cool independent thinker, now you have become one of these 97+ drones!? I am speechless.......

"the VERY best way to go!?!?!?" Why don't you let people make their own decisions about what looks good for them.

If u want cheap, I put together my kit for 100$. It took a little fiberglass work and trimming to fit right, but if you are not a retard this is easy to do.

lol what ?? hes asking opinions so he got mine, what is the problem?

In MY opinion the 97+ is BY FAR the best way to go, for one they are made from the best quality, best fitment, look better then MOST kits , id also say they help resale value

Sorry Chris but that is MY opinion after weighing all the options, I wont recomend someone take their chances on a cheap aftermarket kit when we have access to such a nice OEM one.

still a bit confused by your harsh reaction though

I suggest looking at picture threads for a month or two before making a move as your tastes may change. What I like now, is way different then what I liked before seeing thousands of Sc's. Many people waste money this way. I learned that for me, the original designers really nailed both body styles (long as you have a lip). But there are a few really nice kits.
Check this thread on Aero Parts (kits).

Take Your time developing your eye/tastes if you have not. A kit and paint is a fragile yet pricy commitment, make the right move the first time.

Good Luck

A lot of the pictures from the earlier part of the thread don't work anymore, but this should cover most of the body kits you'd be able to get a hold of in the states.

Sc300/400 aero fitment thread:
https://www.clublexus.com/forums/sc-...-thread-2.html

As for some of the "best kits" the general idea is that (real) vertex (supposed to have perfect fitment) and 97+ kit (oem fitment) along with several others are going to be your easiest choices requiring little to no fitting. At the moment I can't think of the other really well fitting kits because it's so early but they're in the above thread. Good luck and have fun collecting parts for your kit!

vertex, oem is so much easier to deal with, unless you get a authentic kit most replica kits will take alot of work to fit

I'd say the most popular kits for the SC are Auto Couture and Vertex. Can't go wrong with either of them, but I don't think there have been other kits that caught my eye that I'd prefer over AC or Vertex :\
