Default Opinions Please

Hey guys,
I sold my XXR 521 because they wouldn't clear LS400 brakes. I finally decided that i was going to do Enkei rpf1 18 x 9.5 +15 offset front and 18 x 10.5 +15 for the rear.

However i came across these: XXR 530
And i was thinking of doing a double staggered 17 x 8.25 front +25 offset and 18 x 9.75 + 20 offset. And from what i gathered online these XXR are 20.1 pounds give or take. Which is very good in my opinion for the price. The set would run me 550. shipped I have included a picture.

What do you guys think?

Going on the picture alone. I don't see anything wrong with them, l but I think the car in the pic is too clean to be putting those wheels on it. When I see those wheels I expect a bit more aggressive car and I think there are better matches to your car that don't include the color gold. The car isn't even tinted, which for the record I prefer. Some machine finished wheels would look best on it. Even if you stripped those wheels and finished them in silver it would look better.

Those wheels need a kit, tint, custom hood maybe.

On a side note, how can I tell you if it will look good on your car if there is no pic of your car?

I would go with Enkei over Xxrs anyday, but I can see why you would pick them. They are really sexy.
I guess do pros and cons? This is how I see them.
Pros of Enkeis
Good quality, lighter, look good
Cons of Enkeis
Cost more, are common.

Pros ox Xxr
Cheap, look good
Cons of Xxrs
Bad quality, common

So do your own, I like both though.

Appreciate the input. My car is a black 1993 SC300 with a full 1997 kit. I was thinking about they hyper silver instead of the gold.

Looks like those EVO BBS stock wheels/Enkei Raijin wheels. I do think they're pretty cool wheels though

That's always going to be a good combo, white/pearl with gold rims.

i don't see what the car being tinted has to do with the wheel choice :/
gold or silver would suit your black sc great, as long as the wheels will clear your ls brakes

I think silver on your black SC should look very clean- though the quality and rep. of Enkei will be better.
