Hey guys i recently saw these SSR GT1s for sale near me and I was wondering how you guys think they'd look on my car. They're 17x9 with +38 offset.
Right now my rims are 16x8 (dont recall the offset i think somewhere in low 40) I'm dropped down and have about a finger or so gap between tire and fender, do you think I'd have any rubbing issues?

17's I THINK are only appropriate if you plan to have some meat around those wheels (285/40 rears and 255/40 front). if they are for a good price for some ssr's then i say ****** them up!
lol 255s up front, thats kinda ridiculous for this car.
i think those would look good on an ISF, but i also think they look better than what you have on there now.

plug in your current sizes, and the the size of that 17" wheel and what tires you think youd run with it
^there's really no need for that site if you know whats flush and what is not flush on these cars. if the wheels he posted had been between +15 and +20 they would be considered "flush fitment" so since they are higher offset you can afford to have a bigger tire to create a staggered appearance since all the rims are the same size. thus my reason behind 255 front and 285 back or 275... 265. either way it'll help fill the space of the wheel wells, because after all 17's need help looking bigger, they will compensate for the 17" factor of the wheel, IN MY OPINION.

the question was "do you think i'd have any rubbing issues"
it wasnt a question of 'are these wheels going to be hella flush'
so that is why that website would come in helpful.

Thanks for the website, right now I'm running 225/55 all around.
Right now as it sits on the front tucked in approximately .5-.7"
I used the website and from the look of it I'd probably try and go 245/40 or 245/45. With the 45 I'd be approximately 2mm smaller in diameter than what I'm at now and .7 wider. On the 40 i'd be the same amount wider but 16mm smaller in overall diameter which would lessen the rubbing issue.
The rear I'm not too worried about with rubbing, I'd guess something like a 255/45 or 265/45 so even though it's conservative would be fine to just give it a nicer look than what it has now.
Off topic, but op...is that a factory color on your car?
yes, It's bordeaux pearl. The car was in the shadow of the house when the picture was taken so it look kind of purplish, but in the sun it has more red in it. Think red garnet except a shade or two darker w/ a slight hint of purple.
Must have been the shade and little ipad screen that threw me off. At any rate I like the look of the wheels. I say go for them if you don't mind 17's. personally 17 would be fine for me. These cars are heavy enough as it is. Wheel weight can make a very noticeable difference in performance
