Ok quick question for you fellow na-t guys what spark plugs are you running, what gap are u using, and what degree do you have the distributer set to?

need much more info on your setup as that info does affect my answer to your question

i run a ngk iridium plug in the 8 heat range which is a cold plug at my power level on pump gas it wards off chances of detonation ..cant answer you question about timing as im on a standalone so i set idle timing my way to whatever my car is happy at for a smooth idle as im heavily cammed and use a 90mm throttle body

 

lexforlife is right we need alot more info on your setup.

if you are on the stock ge ecu, then you will have to gap down alot. I always left the timing base 10 degrees.
at 11 psi back when I was on the stock ecu, I would have blowout unless I went down to .026 on BKR7EIX.
Not very impressive to say the least to have to gap down so far for 11 psi, but you are running 1 coil on a 6 cylinder turbo motor now so yeah thats why, and those plugs worked better than the coppers in that situation.

I would recommend looking into my TT ecu mod on the main SC forum, which will let you run coilpacks, then you can get back up to .032 or higher depending on your boost levels.
