Yeah they are pretty nice. Not totally sold on the black on black look but I guess it will grow on me.
I'll be getting my new steering rack next week which will allow to get an alignment finally. Then get some camber dialed in along with a fender roll and I should be set.
This weekend I got around to making sure my harness relocation was cleaned up and I found a permanent place for the air bag and hood release (hopefully). Since I obviously wont be ab;e to run the fender liners I decided to bed line the more exposed areas of the wheel well. Was it completely necessary...no but it couldn't hurt.
Fenders off.
This is how I had left the wires after I had originally moved the harness.
Now
Hopefully the final spot for the rest of the wires.
Scuffing up the paint so the bed liner has some thing to grab onto.
My plan was to bed line when the suspension was out but time stopped that from happening. I decent enough job and it quieted up some road noise so all in all I'm happy how it turned out.
The new steering rack came in so that will be going on this week along with get my fenders rolled. So close to getting the wheels on. Just a little bit longer.
On Friday I had the new steering rack installed along with the Whiteline steering bushings. Its a night and day difference and the car has gotten even more fun to drive and push through curves.
Now on to the problem...the overflow nipple broken in half and blew out some fluid. I fixed it with some aluminum tubing and jb weld. I took it for a drive and the temp gauge stayed steady on the line just before halfway. It wasn't until I was pulling back into the driveway that it started to move to the middle of the gauge. I popped the hood while it was running and I'm hearing a whistling noise coming from some hose in front of the engine.
edit: Not leaking coolant so no hole in coolant lines.
Thoughts??

Wheels till aren't on which is lame I know. I still need to get the fenders rolled. I really want to get new brakes on first because my stock calipers look like crap. I will get the fenders rolled soon and get the wheels fitted I just probably won't be rolling on them daily until I get new brakes. Plus construction at my work has made the already ****ty roads even worse. With 2 inch drops from one level of pavement to another and raised man hole covers, its like driving through a damn mine field.
