Question door panel repair questions

I had a rattle in the driver's door so I take it off to find every nut and screw loose and stress cracks everywhere. The bolt hole closest to the front of the car crumbles in my hand. So my questions are:
1 - Is there a guide on how to fix the doors that still has pictures? (the ones that I have found had their picture links broken)
2 - Is there a reasonably priced place to get spruce used or new replacements?
3 - I hear that the trim around the glass will crack, what locations do the cracks usually occur and what can you do about it?
