I am a newb to coilovers I can admit it. These four turns are located at the bottom of the coilover or the middle where the spring sits?

How it came out of the box

With the bottom completely removed and a full 4 360 degree turns.

Already have sway bars. Not sure what they are as they came with the car but they are red lol I MIGHT install them tomorrow if we're slow at work. If not then Sunday(usually a guaranteed slow day) Hope everything works out.

Edit: Quick question! I've got the coils all measured out I rotated the tops so that everything sits "nice" and shows the MAX logo facing out. My one question is on the top where the Hard/Soft twistable **** goes, are they supposed to be so easy to remove? They practically fall out if I shake them upside down hard enough. They all adjust the nice 12 clicks and I've got them set to the HARDEST setting Just wondering if it's okay to leave them off and in the cabin ready for use whenever I see fit. Thanks!

@k7q They're both at 21 inches from very bottom to the very top. And I have not.

Sadly/gladly work is busy and so is school. But I might have this Sunday off and if I do...that is when I shall try to tackle this project again. Believe me though...once they're installed I will post TONS of pictures and possibly a little cruising video. Excuse the delay on this install my schedule is odd.

The adjustment ***** are meant to be removed, but most people leave them in because it is easier to make adjustments.

So I'm in the process of installing them. With my school schedule it's basically one a day but its easy so far. They're at max height and from a four finger gap it's down to two fingers and that's also with it on the stiffest setting. Tomorrow I should finish the passenger front side and begin soaking the rear bolts and nuts in WD-40 which by the way is VERY helpful. Makes everything like butter. And in case anyone is wondering I'm not driving at all until they're all installed. For now I'm riding with friends to school which is working alright.

The only negative about my pbms is that I have maxed the rear as high as I can get it and its still waaay to low in the back. I wish the made their sleeves a little longer for the rears because the highest I can get it is still tire tuck. Which means to even out the front u basically have to ride slammed.

I agree for some "having" to ride slammed sucks...but oh we'll haha I'm really excited to be slammed. 4x4 status got old a loooong time ago. How many extra turns did you add to the front to balance out?

Just finished the front, looks so much nicer. Gonna need to adjust accordingly to whatever the rear drops. I just also purchased front adjustable sway bar end links...anyone use these before? They're Battle Version.

Exclamation Help!

Need help asap. I'm on removing the rear shocks....but the springs seem to need to be compressed to be removed...the garage guide did not have that info I'm following everything from this link and it has all been perfect up until now.http://garage.projectraine.com/conte...ng/spring.html Anybody have any recommendations for how to get these out of here? All I need to do is remove them and put in the PBM's and I'm finished.
