Default Water in my Headliner/Roof

so after it rains and i start driving water drips or pours out of the side of my headliner near the b pillar. Sometimes it will also pour out for the dome light bezel. This is very concerning as winter is coming and seem like it could do a lot of damage. It only pours out when im driving and i hit the brakes so this tells me its accumulating somewhere.

My first impression would be that the sunroof seal needs replacement? But I maybe im missing something?

Any ideas?

thanks!

Seals do not need replacement, sunroofs are designed to leak. Your sunroof drains must be clogged. There is a write up how to clean them, look for it and should solve your problems. Shouldnt take you more than an hour's worth of work to fix. GL

Also look at the top windsheild seal edge on the roof for rust. My 93 had some and I had to have the windsheild removed and the roof repaired at a body shop. It was deff. getting water into the front edge of my headliner.

IIRC the drain tube is on the right rear side of the trunk, behind the CD changer and side panel; you can take a compressor and blow air through it to see if you can clear out the gunk... make sure you have the sunroof open first, and cover the opening underneath before you do it... otherwise all the crap that the air pushes out might end up on your armrest, dash, and seats =X
