I looked all over for the best price 246. with 25 shipping or 257 with 10.00 shipping, the latter had taxes so i went with the tax free one $543.00 shipped to my door. u would think someone would go to china and make a bunch of these control arms for half price.
the price keeps climbing on this lower control arms in 2005 they went for 193.00 in 2007 they were 220.00 and now there 250.00.
my car has 190k miles on it and it wanders on the freeway, so its time to change the ball joints. I can spin the ball joints with my fingers they feel loose. I used the pitman arm puller from kregen auto 14 bucks to pull the ball joints and tie rods, worked good. my wheel barring are bad too so i bought the hub's on ebay for 60+ 15 shipping and i received ones that are still good..001 runout and no back lash. vary smooth. mine are ruff and back lash was .005 -I think my upper ball joints are bad too, they feel lose and i can spin them easy with my fingers. I bought the rack bushing kit and the sway bar bushing kit also and the tokico shocks. its going to cost 1k to rebuild the front end.

I just bought both the left control arm and the right (95 Supra) and upper control arms, also bushings. Hopefully my BRAND NEW FRONT END will fix this wandering issue lol

I know how you feel, I just spent around $1,000 on parts for my front end. My car is at the shop right now and it will cost me another $500 or so for labor and a 4 wheel alignment. In my eyes it is an investment though, I'm ready for a smooth ride on the highway...

Ya, if you pay more that $550 total for both, including shipping, you are paying too much.

I have bought so far

2 Upper Control Arms ($160)
2 Sway Bar End Links ($40)
2 Lower Control Arms ($540)
Polyurethane (Prothane) Bushings (Control Arm[s]) ($60)
2 Inner Tie-Rods ($40)
2 Outer Tie-Rods ($40)
Polyurethane Steering Rack Bushings (Already Installed) ($50)

The only thing I'm not replacing is the sway bar bushings.

And my order was canceled, just like the rest of the sites. Apparently no one can get their hands on these at a GOOD price (without spending $500 a piece at the dealership).

Order them re-mannedd from Lextreme if they're still around. There's a core charge of 200 bucks but after you send yours back, it comes out to about 200 bucks a peice. He strips and repaints them and installs brand new bushings. Seems like a deal.

I don't mind the bushings, I actually already put polyurethane bushings in the current on the car but the ball joints are bad. Are his rebuilt with new balljoints because I was told by every shop non-serviceable/rebuildable ball joints.

I sent him an email!

THIS SUCKS! We need to have an aftermarket control arm for our cars that doesn't suck or cost way too much!!

I am in Canada and the lexus dealership asked for $960/arm!!!! and $370/arm at toyota...this was more then 2 years ago and I imagine they cost a lot more now...
