From my understanding, the ge oil pump doesn't have a place for the crank sensor. and as far as oil pressure that doesn't matter. I just talked to an authority on 1.5 builds and he told me I should get the turbo pump and take out the crank sensor wheel/gear from my 1jz and put it in the 2j. this is so that my 1jz electronics/sensors will work with the different block. so no sc300 pump I don't believe is going to work.

96+ all have the crank sensor on the oil pump

92-95 doesn't.

Man, did I fall asleep on this thread. well I'm done with my build, boy was it a lot of work. wiring my chasis was no joke. and building a motor, man lots of hours. I started her up finally this last weekend. and have sorted through just about every issue. next up is a tuner.

And yeah, omar is right, obd2 oil pump works fine. has the place for the crank sensor.

Wow extremely rude and unnecessary. I understand that would work. I am competing in this car and I want peace of mind and reliability. I was on a stock block last year and it was showing signs if wear. I figured this year I would make it last. So thanks for ur 2 cents but you can keep it. And go ask your mom and dad to teach you some manners.

1jz to a 2jz is a waste of time man freshen up the 1jz and put a few extra dollar into it and your power goal is right there.. and if u want super fast spool get a holset turbo.. thats my couple of cents LOL
