Shane, Sewell has to be matching your VIN#/order to your Sc'97 that's why your getting the wrong Trac switch.

Teal,

I talked to them, they aren't. They are going by the part number I told them to order. Every diagram on there site for the TRAC switch from 97-2000 is the same part number. Even if they were giving me the one for the 97 it would still be the one I order for a 99. The diagram for all 97-2000 models is the same with the same part number for the TRAC switch. Unfortunately this isn't the switch I need. To be honest, I've owned three of these cars now and I have never seen the switch I ordered on any of the models I've owned.

Shane, I looked at my Trac off on my '95 and it's a push (on/off) button to the top right of my shifter under the ashtray compartment. Is this part/trac off Sewell send you a button or a switch function type?

Teal,

The one they sent me doesn't look anything like the one your talking about I believe. Here is the one they sent me and a pic of the one in my 92 that I think is like the one your talking about.

Shane, Yes I have the same setup, as pictured above in your '92 Sc. Now things are becoming clearer, with your dilemma. The picture/part Sewell sent you looks like a on/off type of switch. Maybe they changed the design to a switch instead of a button? I occasionally activate my trac off button, with a sleight touch from my hand from time to time.
