i have a 94 sc300 5speed, i bought this car, and it had a NOT WORKING and BLACKED OUT digital climate control screen. it wouldnt turn on or light up. i got a new 1 i plug it into my car it lights up but no display meaning no SYMBOLS, none of the buttons to turn on or fan power up or dwn nothing just back lights. i plug it into another car and or anther sc and wroks and displays perfect. i changed the harness n back cause the orignal was hacked looked like birds nest so i installed a new 1 from lexus everything pluged right in no missing plugs and still NOTHING, lights up but no display symbols, i cheaked and changes all fuses , and relays under hood and still nothing. can any1 help or had this problem how can i fix??? tyvm

 

best thing to do is use a test light to make sure everything is getting power and follow all the wires and see where they go and if some are exposed and touching metal

 

This is an extremely easy guaranteed fix. Replace the cigarette lighter fuse and that will do it. If the cigarette lighter fuse is broken than that does not give the A/C system a complete circuit. This fuse will be on the drivers side, far up to the left. I think it is a 15...
