I got some ebay ceramics and drilled slotted rotors. When i put them on my first sc4 the back right had a sticking guide pin and it made a noise. Now that i transferred them they still make the noise. Are the pads/rotors screwed? Also how important are the triangle clips that connect to the two pads?

 

Are they squealing, or just making a scuffing noise? Also, if you didn't fix the issue of the sticking set pin the first time, the pads/rotors could have abnormal wear, and in this case, yes, they're screwed. Drilled/slotted rotors are not able to be turned.

Buy some decent OEM replacement pads and rotors from your local auto parts store and install them. If you notice that any of the components on the caliper are sticking, or not functioning properly, FIX IT before you drive it and potentially wear out more hardware.

 

the clips are very important they keep everything in the right place so you can break. you can get replacement spring clips from the dealer they arent that bad.
