Default AEM v2...question about IAt and Map sensor...

Need a touch of help car guys. Aristo motor, 95 usdm harness, Aem v2 ems. Ive read so much i think i have fried my brain. I've been messing with my AEM v2 and getting ready to finally install it. Question though regarding my AEM IAT sensor and My AEM 3.5 bar Map sensor. I know how to wire them in correctly but my main question is do i completely cut the wires from the existing sensors as can I completely remove the boost pressure manifold sensor and compltely remove the Iat sensor? or do i just tap the wires and leave them in place and hooked up. Just need a straight forward answer my head is killing me. My feeling is leaning me towards removing the old sensors completely as this is a standalone. Less clutter is always nice. Also i have a Pink and black wire, and a brown wire running to large like resistor type thing, I used to run Mapecu 2 someone please identify this.

Remove these two sensors completely?

And what is this its wired into my harness. Cant remember what it could be for. Main two wires are pink and black/brwn that run to this.

remove map sensor , cut wires and connect to new map sensor harness and dont mount map directly to intake manifold as the aem map's do not like the excess vibrations or heat and for iat , remove plug , connect wires minus resistor to aem iat , leave the stock sensor screwed into manifold and mount your new iat sensor into piping about 8-12 inches before throttlebody
