Hello everyone; first post on the forums. Have been a lurker for the past few months. Based on the recommendations I read on this forum, several months ago I decided to purchase a Lexus SC400. 1995, Teal, light and dark tan leather interior, runs and drives great - I'm actually shocked a bit how much so for a 17, going on 18 year-old vehicle. I've been very satisfied with it overall, moreso than any other vehicle I've previous owned, and have slowly been doing several minor renovation projects/small mechanical fixes to bring it back up to factory spec, but there is one item that has got me stumped cold thus far. I cannot find a replacement Sunroof weatherstrip/Sunroof replacement gasket -anywhere- online or offline so far - and the car is currently quite loud, almost unbearably so. We did put masking tape over it today to confirm this is the issue. So, does anyone have any recommendations or a used parts dealer here on the forum that would have this part on hand? I'm hoping to get it and install it before an extended road trip/move in one week. The only thing I've been able to find this far is the entire sunroof glass including the gasket for ~$99 + shipping on Ebay- but I don't know if they could get it to me in time, and I'm hoping to not spend that much if I can avoid it. I would try to contact the member aliga. Most of the time he will have parts in stock like that. He is one of the forum vender. If u need it quick he is pretty good on getting it to u but just let him know. I've already bought a lot of stuff from him.
