Default Advice on this car

I've been looking for a car and stumbled across this SC400. What do you guys think for the price? I intend to negotiate the price when I see it. Rims gonna have to go and get replaced with stocks and Ill do something about the skull stitching.

Than it's probably a good deal. How many miles does it have? The skull stitching look's awful, BTW that's a compliment.

Check for suspension issues, ball joints and etc. cuz that will cost a lot down the road. Looks clean though. Good luck! Make sure u take your time and look thoroughly.

It has over 200k miles. Honestly I am not looking for it to be a daily driver, but more of a project car. Probably take out some interior parts for my old (now my brother's) sc.

Thanks all

Looks pretty good, 2400 isn't a bad price...I bet you can get it a little cheaper? Doesn't hurt to try? What's the worse they can say-No? Either way, good luck and keep us posted.

Barring any major mechanical issues & the fact that they are willing to provide service records, it looks to be clean and in a good price range. If everything checks out, you should be able to walk away with that car for $1900-$2k.

I can't get past those headrests to even look at the rest of the car. Nothing here screams "I've replaced all the rubber bits and done the 100k mile service".

Yes & No. For the uninformed, DEFINITELY DO NO BUY FROM AN IDIOT, as you will have no way of separating fact from their bull****. Conversely, there is me(and quite a few others) who LOVE buying cars(well anything really) from idiots because they a)have no idea what they have & b)have no idea what it is worth - which results in a good to great deal for you/me(universal you kinda like the royal "we" except no deity involvement). ANYWAY, paraphrasing part of a saying that I absolutely love - "It isn't a great deal because of what you sell it for. It's a great deal because of what you purchased it for".

lol well put, I also like to purchase from those that are unaware or uncaring as to what their car really is, but those are a different kind of animal then what we are dealing with here I think.

I try hard to stay away from high mileage car's and cars that have been owned by punks, i still say try to find a better one, but good luck either way.

If you must, offer him $1500, and give him **** for the headrests.
