For some reason, I'm getting tailed a lot when driving my SC. I don't get tailed in my Nissan.

Weird!?

 

I get a lot of thumbs up in traffic as well as a lot of head turning.

At lights, people all the time make the sign to roll my windows down and ask me what it's got in it. When I tell them, stock motor with I/H/E they usually think i'm lying. Sometimes they're just shocked it's a V8 or that Lexus makes V8's in general.

Had a guy in a Trans Am a while back follow me a few miles till we hit a light. Just to ask me what it had done to it and told me it sounded very american muscle.

Last week some guys in a jacked up F250 were riding next to me for a while just staring. They saw the Z06 calipers and with the way it sounds they told me they thought it had an LS1 in it.

The other day I came out of Advance and the guy that worked there was taking pictures of it and demanded to hear it after seeing the fireball mega's. Turns out we knew a few of the same people and he was getting work done on his 7m mk3 supra at a shop we both use.

 

that's cause that SC of yours is just mean. Makes others move aside and give signs of respect.

Funny thing is, this is actually the first time I've ever been proud to own a car. Not just proud of my car, but I digress.

 

Funny thing I get the same looks...but when they hear and see my exhaust .... When I'm parked and they see my oem interior they are shocked that it's is a 92.... I don't know about you all... It makes me feel great...lol

 

I never really attract any attention to myself when i drive, so most people in my area pay no attention...lol.

 

When my work wheels were chrome I use to get a lot more looks. I still get the occasional thumbs up or person that stops me at a grocery store begging to sell my car to them.

Can you blame them....
