I am inthe process of doing my head gasket on my 1992 SC300 5 speed. I am putting things back together and have all my connectors off my engine harness hooked up but I see a spot for a connector to plug into but have no wire to plug into it... I cannot see there being the connector spot for nothing so the wire must be somewhere but I have followed all wires coming off my harness and they all are already connected elsewhere... What a I misssing?
It is on the right (intake side) of the motor, let me know if more details are needed.
Here is the pic: The connector in question is encircled in red.

Thanks!!

iirc, there was never a plug that connects to that from the factory. This is at the steering rack end of the hi-pressure line, just ignore it.

Of course there is a plug there it is a $385 sensor that tells the steering to speed up or slow down based on the pressure.

O.L.T., could you be referring to the plug that connects to the pressure control valve (the plug at the bottom of the picture in the link)? The one in the OP's picture is at the end of the hi-pressure power steering line. I actually deleted that plug when I upgraded to a SS line (92 SC300 5-Speed too). As far as I've seen, there is no plug in our car that connects to it. I'm sure it has its use for diagnostic purposes at the dealership.Originally Posted by O. L. T.
