Default How does this SC400 look?

Hey everyone, i am new here and am purchasing a first car, i have taken great interest in all Lexus' but i really like SC400's this car is for sale, but i am not sure what it will be like, could you please take a look and tell me what you think.

1993 Lexus SC400
2 Door
V8 4.0L
Black
Tan leather interior
20" Rims
LED Interior lights including vanity mirrors
Alpine double-din (if the right price)
LED headlight bulb
HIDs
Interior speakers all changed
Brand new battery put in a month ago
Brand new rear tires
4-gauge wiring all the way through ready for an audio system
Resonators are chopped out to give the car more of a v8 sound, still have them if you would like to put them back.

Price is 2500 o.b.o

The car has about 300,000 km's which is the same as around 190,000 miles.

This car looks familiar. Is this someones on here maybe?

With all the little mods they have done, I think that is a very fair price in todays market. If the car runs out well, no miss or have any shifting issues, you should be ok. These V8 motors can go 400K miles if the maintenance has been done. Is there any other records of that?

Welcome to CL !!!!!

The owner claims that he had the timing belt and a few other things done about a month ago, when i look at it i will check, he also says the only thing that needs to be done is the brakes need to be bled. thank you for your time

No problem. If that is the only true issue, the price is very fair. In the future you might think of upgrading at least the front brakes to LS400 or TT... Food for thought. GL

Car looks clean. Check to see if the steering wheel pump is leaking! if so it's going to cost you an arm and a leg to fix in Canada.

Another thing, this may be a bit off topic, but this will be my first car, i am a 17 year old male, would insurance be very high with the car being 2 door and a luxury car with a v8? i know it will be a bit higher than other cars

nice to see another toronto member joining

this car has been for sale for a while ive seen the add many times, I think 2500$ is fair as long as it runs well.

kilometres are a bit too high for my liking but as said earlier these engines can last a very long time

i have those same wheels only in chrome they are MSR085 and u can sell them for $800 or so to put towards something else

Insurance will def be higher since its a 2 dr coupe, If your working full-time job you won't need to worry too much, but remember it will need premium gas, and when the time comes for maintenance and repair $$$$.
