Default Fender exit downpipe

Hey all, ive been thinking of doing a fender exit downpipe when i go single and was wondering if anyone has done it or knows of anyone that has. I wanna know how much work really needs to be done and what not.

It seems that there arent really that much cars in general that have these set ups besides civics and evos so i havent really seen much.

Please and thank you!!!!

I did this on my civic drag car, sounded great, shot 6 foot flames at corvettes on the highway! Only downfall was burning the paint to heck!!

+1 if you do it though!

I really wanna do it now, especially if no one has done it yet.

The main reason besides looking and sounding awesome is for ground clearance. No more exhaust scrapping!

i think that with the proper execution and a powerful motor to back it up that it would be bad ***

oh yeah thats something i didnt think of, how horribly loud it would be.
expect attention from law enforcement, unhappy neighbors, and perhaps
smog officials.

oh yeah wastegate would be fine, mines pointing at my passenger tire anyways.. lol not much of a difference in sound I would expect.

If you have never heard a 2jz single turbo with just the downpipe, you will not even imagine how loud it is. It develops this larger displacement grumble, and is violently loud when you get on it.
you wont just attract the cop next to you, but all of them within a couple city blocks.

wheres QuickSC I remember his open DP when he was still deciding on his exhaust

gf rocks this and this only in her sc all day every day for months now. 4", the looks from dudes and children are priceless. 4urxtc can vouch

I honestly can't think of how you'd do a fender exit without major fab surgery. You have fab/weld skills? Hood exit is cheap and easy and has less bends
