Default Sc-f ?

Does anyone have an F-logo on their car?

I was doin' a bit of research, and found out that the "F" in IS-F, etc. stands for "Fuji", as in Japan's Fuji-Speedway, which the F's design is meant to resemble (Turn 1).
I think most people assume it stands for "Fast", which is easily understandable.

That said, since it's an indicator of a Lexus being the "sport-version" so to speak, Im wondering if anyone's thought of putting an "F" badge on their SC ... ?
I mean, some of the SC's on here all well beyond BPU, so I'd say it should be acceptable to do so. It's not like you're a Lancer, claiming to be an EVO or anything. It's just a more-sporty Lexus.

I think it may allow the SC to appear more contemporary. If nobody's done it, then maybe I will, further down the road.
It may look pretty cool along the fenders, and/or in the rear; I'll just remove the "300".

Any input on this?

No Bueno...
It's similar to taking a BMW 2002 ti and putting a M Badge on the back

But it's your car, do as you please.

Drop in the IS-F motor, and I'll let it slide

Wait wait, I have't done it yet
Everybody chill, lol.

Okay so apparently theres more to it than I thought.
So it's not just Lexus' "sport-tuned" insignia?
What more is there to a car being an -F? What exactly is special about an "F-Motor"?
Can a 2JZ be "F-ed"?

I have seriously thought about doing this. But it just wouldn't be an F if you have the same motor or suspension as the other SC300's or SC400's. I saw a vid not too long ago, that explains how F differs from the same non-F models of the car. It was talking about specific tuning of the motor and suspension to that specific car, unlike buying aftermarket stuff, mostly are universal just made to fit the model of your car. So for me, to put an F logo on your SC, your SC should be contemporary and unique that no one else has it.

Honestly speaking, I doubt "cityknight" will do anyone outstanding enough to put on a F badge.

sc300jz, I think we understood that you don't like the idea the first time you posted.

So when spdrcr771 upgraded his heads to a 3UZ and badged his SC "SC430" that's also retarded?

The "F" badge looks cool. Expressing my entitled opinion, I say do it as long as you're not 100% completely stock. If you have some unique additions go ahead. It is your car. Also, it is a Lexus and I dont think anyone over at FUJI speedway would mind, they'd probably like it and think it was cool and take it as a compliment.

If City Knight can achieve what this dude has done,
then he can put two IS-F badges on his car.

Yep. Throw a rod, spin a bearing, or crankwalk one and it is thoroughly "F-ed".
