Default Oil Pressure

No not normal, How long does it stay on for? mine stays on for like .5 of a second.

What oil are you using?? How long have you owned the car, what kinda records on it. Which oil symbol appears? the low oil level or im assuming the red one for low pressure?

Thanks for getting back to me. It's not long, but long enough to be notice. I'm the 2nd owner. 2 oil changes in my ownership. Castrol 10w 30. I've had the car a year, didn't hear it before, not my daily driver the car can sit for weeks. Red oil symbol . I may b due for an oil change, time not mileage . Thanks for your help

You need to be using 5w30....who told you to use 10w30?
switch to 5w30 and report back to see if it changes. The 5w30 will reach where it needs to go in the engine faster than 10w30 which might remedy your problem (and the manual calls for 5w30)

You could even use 0w30 as i do,
