Default HELP r154 speedo



Do you install the marlin crawler speedo sensor in that? Do I need the mechanical speedo. The marlin crawler takes the place of the speedo cable am i correct and will it will work on my 97 sc300.

That is correct. Remove that, screw in the MC and then wire in the two wires to get the reverse light to work correctly. Remeber also to pull the P,N,D,2,1, if you converted from an auto to manual.

Yes, screw the mc adapter to the speed sensor. Its not necessary to remove the speed sensor to install the mc adapter. Also, you may want to replace the 2 seals on that speed sensor, 1 goes on the outside, the other goes on the inside, it will prevent your mc adapter from being flooded with gear oil.

Like they said on the speedo and please don't hack that mount and your cross member like some have, just buy a W58 mount and it will work great! and you deal deal with vibration and stuff.

Could you go into some detail with pulling the p,n,d,2,1. What do I pull. What about the abs sensor that they sell on driftmotion. Does that go on the other side in roughly the same location. The reverse sensor is on the same side as the speedo with two wires coming out of the sensor?
