Whats up guys.. My 97' auto SC300 2jzgte just put down 450whp 387TQ @ 19psi on a pt6266 with aTMS stage 2 tranny and 3800 stall, I'm just curious to knw caliber of cars I cld race and take out or with these numbers?

Ahh, thanks for the vid. Was the sc3 a 5sp or auto?
My neighbor makes fun of me because his b series honda with small goodies can keep up with my V8 sc4. I just say the extra 4 cylinders make up for the fact that its auto and weighs twice as much lol

 

^^ that SC3 has a stock 5 speed transmission, rear diff and full weight. also note that civic has tuned kpro, bolt ons, no passengers and was almost fully stripped interior wise.

 

That civic is pretty nice, but I would hate the fact that I would always be paranoid of someone stealing it. Especially how much money he probably put into that thing...

 

Yessir Texas does have some of the fastest cars in fact the shop who's buildind my sc has the 2nd fastest sc in the world. 450whp is not a lot of power, bt it's still no punk either, it's just enough to get my feet wet with my set up, long term goals whp is 750 bt untill tht goal is in reach I'm just curious to knw what cars people have taken out w/450whp auto or manual from a dig or a roll. I have a 3800stall Tomei 2way LSD. Most of races will be from a roll 60-160 or so.

 

Well we can't tell because in TX / FL everything is either boosted or Supercharged! So it's really hard to tell you what car and car to run, Just pick your batttles and don't bite more than you can chew..

I'd say you'd run level with mostly stock f-bodies, SRT4, S4's, STi, Evo etc.. Your numbers are fun but not gonna be a street king in Texas by any means..

 

Who's buliding your car? Chris and SW have two of the fastest SC's in Texas that I know of. SW has his own shop now and Chris does stuff on the side.

My car is being built by Dynosaur Performance in Fort Worth T.X. By no means am I trying to earn street cred, want the title of being a street king or will try to bite off more than I can chew. I'm a humble guy simply wanting to enjoying my car with what it has and hoping to pull away or keep up with 03 cobra smaller pulley tht my cousin has, 08 Porsche 911 4S my brother owns and a 2010 ZO6 which belongs to my dad. I cld carless if i get pulled on by any of these cars lol and especially a Honda civic with a k20 swap not discrediting Hondas at all, bt we know Hondas power to sound ratios can be off quite a bit sometimes. *As we knw there will always be faster cars than mines and you alls. My car is built for personal pleasure so I'm nt trying to smash the gas on every car I see *I want to make my car last enjoy it, bt like I stated before this is only getting my feet wet with this particular set up. Correct me if I'm wrong bt I believe SW held the record for fastest street car in the 1/4mile at some point and ran a 10second pass, bt the car here at the shop ran a 9.2. With a lot left in it. Look it up on YouTube and type in Dynosaur performance there should be a list of the cars they've built click on Top Gun sc or something like tht, I'm on a oil drilling rig with poor service or I wld provide a link.. I appreciate all yu guys input and advice I'll get my car back on the 18th of this month and plan on keeping some of yu guys updated for the ones tht are interested.
