Default engine is dead, going to do a swap

Well yesterday my motor took a crap on my due to #4 cylinder failed. I had gas all through intake I dont know how, but now I am getting ready for the 1jzgte route.

The reason im going 1jz is because my cash is nit that high and being a single father of two boys and helping my family I am going with the 1jzgte.

So far I have started tearing apart the 2jzge and when I take apart the motor I will see how bad the block is. I will be updating this thread as I continue so wish me luck!

First off mad respect for being a single father, especially raising two lil men! Second, helping family-Not only are you helping your family, but you're continuing teachings for your kiddeos! 1JZ are awesome, and you will not be dissappointed! Good luck, and keep us posted!

look for pitting on the block between coolant ports and pistons in that are is where i found the ge needed too much work to keep.

Well my bro was out of town so he couldnt bring me the engine hoist so that put me on hold again.

So far I just been pulling the harness thru the firewall so it will be ready, and did a little cleaning to the enigne bay.

Also if I was to get a supra 1jz how much more wiring is there to do?
