For some odd reason the panel fuse keeps blowing up. I noticed when I first got the car it had a 15Amp fuse instead of the OEM 7.5Amp. Replaced it with a 7.5Amp but it kept blowing up. Yesterday the 3rd fuse blew up and I didnt have any more 7.5's so I just put a 15Amp.

The only thing that I can think of is that the aftermarket Avital remote start would cause it to blow up as when I use the remote the panel lights light up with the heads and tails. Yet again, it blows up every once in a while. Anybody face something similar? What else is the Panel fuse responsible for other than the panel lights?

P.S. Only the last fuse I replaced appeared melted, the previous ones looked ok but the DMM tests shows them blown.

 

Ideas? Come on fellas.
