Wheel size for 93 SC300

Wondering if 225/40/18 tires will work for this vehicle? Please advise...

I had some 225s on my works when i first got them and honestly the rear felt like crap, i feel it needs at least a 245 but thats just my opinion

It all depends on what with wheel your going with. The more the stretch the harder the ride.
