I have a '97 SC and had my tails tinted. So it's totally up to you- but I've found different issues with the aftermarket tails in the past- fitment, moisture issues, etc.

Outta curiosity, what color is the car? That can make a real difference.

 

I've had my eye on these tail-lights.
Don't look as gaudy as those spyder tails, but also get rid of the amber lenses.
