I think they would look good on any car.. If I do get an SC4, black housings will be one of my must do mods.

MMM I've never really understood why people would like to darken the headlight housing. Isn't the point of having headlights to see on the road?

If the car has a reflectiive setup (i.e. 2004 Ford Expedition), then I would see the reduction of light output. If you look at the SC, the projector is pretty much aimed above the chrome casing. If you have HIDs this is more apparent.
I am not saying I am for it, just observations.
I did this mod on my Legend and I did not suffer from decreased light output. Just more people getting out the way

IMO, matching paint doesn't look too hot all the time. It really depends on preference. An example of this is Dado's old M3...it can grow on you, but I preferred it blacked out (OEM). YOU will have to be able to live with it...black is the only other way I would go
Here is an example:

while painting the inside i also want to sand off the lines inside the headlight to make the projector/paint more visible (kind of like supra headlights) i saw a picture of the lines sanded off just in front of the projector and i bet it would look hot if the whole thing was done. The process as i understand is to
1. wet sand with 2000 grit
2. wet sand with 1000 grit
3. apply novus 3, 2, 1 to restore surface
can someone confirm/correct/add to this procedure
thanks in advance
