I'm in for the second one! OP, where are you with the R&D process? Do you need any assistance? This is a great idea, in addition to the rear and sides, I think there's a front one as well that I've seen somewhere, I'll try to find the picture. It might be too much, but if done right, I'm sure it would set off the rest of the kit.

i shipped a few things from the uk to the states. it usually just takes a week or so but the rates arent that bad

The ebay ad states that its roughly $195 for the diffuser and $146 to ship to the US.

I'm thinking about just buying one, cutting it to fit then making a mold of it to be made in strong plastic or carbon at my shop. Could potentially make these along with the other things were making
