Anybody else have an inop interior trunk popper?
My trunk popper on the lower left dash has never worked but the gas door one does.
Are there any common issues with these?
It's the only thing on my car thats inop and it's starting to drive me crazy

Hmm my key does not work in it for some odd reason but works in the doors, ign, trunk and glove box so I assume maybe someone changed it at some point?

It's possible. it is also possible to that theirs gunk in there, keeping it from turning. only takes a little bit to pull it out and inspect everything.

Well? I must have locked mine a few weeks ago by accident and the same thing happened, only worked by the key. Unlocked it and it worked fine.

How can I tell if it's locked or not since the key does not work?

Locked
Unlocked
And in case you didn't read the text you unlock by turning the key to the Left

I picked up a 94 shell that had a switch to turn off the remote door lock/unlock. that's what that empty space is for. my 95 did not have the switch though

Not sure how to remove the panel. But yes it's just a cover so you could run a switch or mount an aftermarket alarm light etc.

Ok I see there is a block off plate of some sort so I guess I need to hit the dealer to order this and at the same time find out about getting a new lock button.
