Default Automatic Transmission

I was just wondering if anyone has done an NA-T conversion but kept the automatic transmission on their car. Anyone know what kind of horsepower/torque the stock transmisions are capable of handling? Don't get me wrong, I am a firm supporter of a standard transmission. I feel that a true sports car is devoid of cupholders and bears a manual transmission. However, I am going to be having a child soon and an automatic frees up a hand and some concentration.

yes
300-ish, they start getting iffy, but a larger trans-oil-cooler will help.
my daddy could shift and backhand at the same time

My sc300 na-t was on 8psi 280rwhp (dynoed) and the auto trans was fine.

Currently built motor for 15psi still have stock auto, installed a trans cooler tho,and have a jdm TT auto trans just for backup when the stock auto dies..

I plan on keeping my auto for na-t. Also am hoping for 350+ gonna up the line pressure and slap a fat tranny cooler on it and hope for the best. Planning on rebuilding with performance clutches plus more.
After the build will go for a suprastick wired into an is300 steering wheel.
