Default Shine AC kit questions

Looking at picking up the Shine Auto Kit, if I did buy it I think I would cut out the front grill, I like the open bumper look better.

What is the general consensus on the forums here, do you think just an AC front bumper with 97+ sideskirts and OEM bumper look better or the full kit. Or the AC front bumper, 97 skirts and AC rear bumper......I like the 97+ skirts, they have a nice line to them and don't sit as low as sideskirts that come with kits.

I do live in Canada, the roads aren't friendly here so I am hesistant to buy a full kit that drops the car a ton

the front bumper takes more hits than any other part of the kit...side skirts rarely get touched, nor does the rear bumper...

Full kit your car wont look so good with the front so low and the sides and rear much higher.

Any idea on a good site that sells the Couture kit, or a cheaper version?

Im saving up for a real AC front and rear, and staying with my 97 skirts. Heres a pic of mine with 97 skirts, 95 rear and AC style front.

Hope this helps you out.

Yeah for sure, that picture helps alot. Im either going to go full kit or 97 skirts and AC front and back bumper.

Anybody know if the Shine Auto Kit is still produced or did they stop making it?

I personally think it looks sick to have just the front bumper. There's plenty of people out there just putting front lips on their cars, same thing. It all boils down to your stance i guess.

For example: Black_SC

Um ... that isn't just front bumper he's got sides and fenders on too.

To the OP - if you plan on cutting out the front bumper I hope you plan on putting something there (*cough intercooler) otherwise you might as well get a Vertex copy front and call it a day, it'll have the same big empty opening feeling =P

I already have a Front Mount, does Black_SC's have the 97 skirts or are those the AC?

Okay, my bad, he has fenders....AND, i didn't realize that the OP didn't have a 97+ kit already.

But i think it looks fine with the 97+ sides, without it though, might look a little weird.

I dunno man, both examples show that the AC front sits lower than OEM 97 sides
