i drive a 97sc300 and wanted a bit of advice on how i can get my sc to give me more millage on gas per gallon? any tricks or suggestions. it is killing me

Don't use it. LOL

I've tried.. Best I get is one week every full tank.. And I drive about 70-80 miles a day..

Proper maintenance and driving technique will help increase mpgs.
I get nearly 30 mpg all highway, ~25 combined.

feather the gas pedal, or just dont be a lead foot driver. fill your tires with nitrogen - much less fluctuation in pressure than air. check your oil regularly and change it when needed. clean/replace your air filter. this is pretty generic stuff that applies to any car.

I get 10mpg in my daily land cruiser and youre talking about sc300?
Time to do the plugs, wires and tire pressure, dont drive with both feet on both pedals lol, oh turn off your ac and keep your windows up for more aerodynamics lol.
Thats the only tips I can think of right now

I am getting 16 mpg on my DD. I have done all the regular maintenance but I have a heavy foot.

I get about 25mpg I do oil changes regularly and also check tire pressure as well.
the Sc its heavy as it is poor tires rolling all that weight around. and slow down early, take off easy don't step on it
maybe do a spark plug change and wires so it burns your gas good. I know the guys here have more ideas. Good Luck!

keep engine rpm under 3 grand and that should help... might not be a lot of fun though
